How compliance works

Step 02 Complete the course

4-hour DHSMV-approved BDI. Online, at your own pace.

Step 03 Certificate filed

Your completion is reported electronically to DHSMV.

Consequence of non-compliance

Under Florida Statute § 322.0261(4), failure to complete a required Basic Driver Improvement course within the applicable deadline may result in license suspension by the DHSMV.
